ACM NOTICE!
ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
okay.. i'm taking some time off from studying so you people had better not complain =x.. about what... i have no idea.. okay.. so anyways.. those who are going ACM on sat.. we are going by ourselves so if you want to meet the others in church BE THERE BY 9 AM!! get that!! 9 in the morning! on the 24th of September, saturday! okay.. if you want to go by yourselves.. please tell me or someone so we wont panic or get scared (if you get kidnapped) =D. okay? i'll hereby ASK the or BEG the core to tell the people under them about this info.. oh yar.. the entrance fee is about err.. $4? around there la.. okay.. that's about it.

I think more guys need to step up! =)
2nd Guy to post! Still wondering if this is strickly for prayer life or for random rubbish or heck, I might even use this as the PR noticeboard.(Eg. Lumen this Friday: We have been asked to distribute candles)
Well, everyone's prelims are ending(or starting AGAIN, *stares* at oliver). And it has been a real crappy time to quit warcraft, as everyone starts slacking NOW! If I do not quit by sunday, shake me out of it! Litterally if you must.
Then comes my prelim results, I PRAY I can go CJC first 3 months. Only English and Physics results left to collect. MODERATION! AH!
But God has a plan for me, be it scoring well, or missing the mark by a bit. Every "failure" or "success" is not really what it seems, as God has a plan- with no mistakes.
"Ever since you were formed in your mother's womb, I had written a plan for you in my book." I think this is what it says. We are now called to have Faith; in God,in Christ, in his Love and in his Plan.
Have Faith.
Nurture that relationship between You and God.
Build your life on Rock.

One day I decided to quit...
I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality...
I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"
His answer surprised me...
"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", I replied.
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light.
I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from
the bamboo seed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo He said.
"In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit.
In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed.
I would not quit." He said.
"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...But just 6 months later the
bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed
to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."
He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots"
"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you."
"Don't compare yourself to others" He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern.
Yet they both make the forest beautiful."
"Your time will come", God said to me. "You will rise high"
"How high should I rise?" I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can" I answered
"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."
I left the forest and bring back this story.
I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you.

hm. read this somewhere and this really reminded me of that day.. when it was lightning over and over again and that piercing sound halfway during communion (during weekday mass) haha.
anyways here's a poem thinge from a website :)

hellos. its a sunday, so cut some slack k guys. haha. anyways, was thinking tt since its a log blog, we shld add something of god in each post. otherwise, it'll become something social and not at all faithfully productive. if u get what i mean la. so i shall add something. this morning, was watching mtv and it was playing the video for 'dirty little secrets'. the one by all american rejects or smtg. and in the video, these pple had to write their secrets on a card and show it to the cam. their faces were either censored or covered by the card la. there was stuff like pple peeing in the sink. haha. but den there was one card which caught my eye. it said: i miss feeling close to god. so there log! got lots more to do to bring god to the world. or more like bring the world to god. wee. so in the midst of all our exams, pls remember tt there's always evangelisation to do. ok, gotta go.

wheeeeeeeee new song!
hello people!
our log blog (hey it rhymes!) has a new song! better than life from hillsongs! everybody learn it! that was the song we tries to teach you guys 2 weeks ago..if this song sounds completely unfamiliar to you that means you did not turn up for session! or we failed horribly at teaching u the song...(lets stick to the 1st option).
well it takes awhile to load so wait for it...and turn your speakers up!
if you have been waiting forever and theres still nothing then that only means one thing...you have to wait till tomorrow! awwww... its because of some technical limitations...yep..don't ask.. but once you hear it, its it'll always be there..yup
oooh and the statcounter tells u how many and who visited and how long and where they came from...cool
oooooh! lets have different songs every week!

A mother saw a thunderstorm forming in mid-afternoon as she went to collect her seven-year-old daughter from school. The mother saw her walking nonchalantly along, stopping to smile whenever lightning flashed. Seeing her mother, the little girl ran to her, explaining happily, "All the way home, God has been taking my picture!"
