Keep this place alive!
Shine Jesus Shine!
I think it's the one of the nicest most inspiring rallies i go to and im glad i did (even though the excuse YOU SHOULD BE STUDYING pops up every now and then (especially on the wallpaper of handphones, swee's and poeys if im not wrong))
It came timely because i feel me again. Or at least there's a little hope of becoming who i was. Thus it was an excellent compliment as to how my spiritual life has been. Which is rather dry, and dead-ish. Imagine a mole digging a tunnel on hard cracked soil. small bits of soil flying everywhere, furious clawing and little progress.
The songs were normal,
they meant something once again.
It was jumpy but it wasn't screamy, the meaning didn't get lost (:
Although there have been 'closer' experiences it was good enough. Like warm water instead of cold after a 4km run(or for sim, lets make that 10km).
The Healing was slow and meditative,
like it was meant to be, like how it was in sec3 camp.
Knowing that healing is "in his time"
On a side note, no worries about slipper lending (to ease the kneeling on gravel) this time (: Though the pain was actually.. nice. It makes you remember.
When life is too comfortable i.e. having a slipper to kneel on, Its easier to forget why you were kneeling in the first place.
The videos were inspiring,
as always.
Father simon was Pro IJtp and SJI and all the other catholic schools,
so i got to feel the true blue ijness, screaming for my schools name once again. (:
It felt good to see familiar IJ faces too. like an unexpected reunion.
It wasn't so much of a HIGH experience but rather one of coming back. Back to Basics.
Go next year, it's always the same.
