myORD!
Hi everbuddy!
I just want to share how overcome with joy I am this morning and in some inexplicable way for me i want to lift and praise his name amen!! somehow my heavy heart over the past few weeks has been uplifted greatly and i want to smile and thank god!
I spent this morning writing a reflection for the sec3 confirmants and i spent some time trying to reflect and not to get distracted by the computer. then this passage came to me from 1 Cor 13
"Three things last forever - faith, hope and love - and the greatest of these is love"
and it reminded me so much of my own confirmation struggles and how in need of God's love i was. and indeed i was showered with God's love (i'll share with the confirmants how!) and how wonderful it is for us to be Catholic, to be confirmed in a time where our hearts were vulnerable to worldly desires but we chose to journey with god, a path filled with much struggles in itself. and i am so happy to be where i am now, in this community with you, and in this ministry to serve the church :) its just so unexpected and inexplicable why im feeling the way i am now!
after writing the reflections ( and a hearty breakfast of sausage and eggs YESS ) i played some dota... then some how or rather i picked up the guitar and started searching for p&w songs to sing and play. which is very rare because i usually play secular music :x but the more i played to myself, the more the hardness in my heart melted and i began to feel the warmth of God :)
yesterday i found out that some of my certificate transcripts were at Selarang Camp in Changi while my i/c was in Chong Pang Camp in Yishun, so i was dreading it totally today, as if i was going to have an anti-climax ORD. BUT LO AND BEHOLD!!! i gave them a call and they said they can singpost my documents to my DOORSTEP. amazing! and somehow, that inspired me to come and share on the blog. God even takes the time to solve the littlest problems :)
also, just want to pray for timmy swee in the hospitalz (are you still there? hows your shoulder!) and juzzy sim and adam adiyamaa in the australiaz. and for the confirmants!!! you will receive the holy spirit!!!
