Merry Christmas LOG :)

Here's a post for Dec :)
Was very affirmed of how real God is in my life. This Christmas has been one of the most meaningful ones. Just the sense of Joy that was already stirring in me at the start of Dec, maybe I was just too happy to be done with exams or maybe God gave me joy. It's an inexplicable sense of joy, one that didnt need explaining. It had no 'because' attached to it.
After joy, came Peace. Caroling - singing carols and doing silly actions was strangely peaceful and calming. Like there was a sense of being at ease with myself, at ease and put right with God. We didnt sound great but it felt right. And caroling with so many people who love and search for God as much as I do, increased the level of joy and peace.
Thanksgiving Session - another chance to experience peace in my life. The year was a struggle. There were many times I thought I had enough, but God pulled me through. You guys pulled me through. And to share all of that at sharing and to hear other people's thanksgiving was truly a very spirit-filled experience. I was restless during the year and at the end I experienced peace, able to trust God more with my life.
And at Midnight Mass, hope and love came together. This year, I really believe that Christmas, Jesus' birth is all about hope. Hope for you, me, Hope for a better day, Hope for salvation. And as I look at the LOG christmas altar picture, hope overwhelms me. So many new people, it's gonna be such an exciting 2010 for all of us. And as I think about the times I lost hope in LOG, I feel silly for not trusting in God's bigger plan. Loglets - you give me hope! Haha
And Love. I dont need to explain it, we can all feel the LOG love. Thank you for loving me and for sharing your life with me. I wrote plenty in all of your cards (it tooks ages btw) but yes. Love you guys, thanks for still being here after almost 5 years. There's still so many experiences to share with each other - we still have 21st parties, graduations, more camps, weddings, baptisms, ordinations (HAHA!) Praise God for each of you.
Joy, Peace, Hope and Love.
Much love,
Jess
