God true blessing to me : LOG
Hello Everyone :P
this is Greg :P ...Whoa this is really exciting!!!! My First Post in Log Blog :P
Okay, Serious post now
I actually wanted to blog on LOG Blog after my few visits to it, however I never took the courage to ask anyone for the password and username and I also was not ready yet. Now I know I am and truly it’s because of god. I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all the loggers because everyone has been really nice and everything and most of all very accepting to me and to the rest of the loglets. I really was confused after confirmation because I knew I wanted to join the youth ministry but didn't know which group and it was quite irritating. I prayed very hard and god told me by a song where the phrase " Community of believers" just struck out to me and I knew that it truly meant the youth ministry but it still didn't answer my question of which group and I was not very happy because I was scared I might start straying away from Church. Sec 2 camp came and it was very busy and all so I got distracted from which youth group I wanted to join. After Sec 2 camp I got back on track and started thinking about a youth group and the week right after Sec 2 camp was Parish feast day mass on Sunday and after mass when the whole youth ministry gathered to take photos and when I stood there looking at everyone , I really had a strong liking for Log because you guys seemed so cool and on the other hand I ended up taking a pic with Owl so I thought maybe that was a sign from god but then later on that day when I was talking to Estelle she told me that I should pray about it, I supposed that the parable of the yeast would be Log reading so I went to read it and it really connected to me and how I was feeling at that point of time. And at this point I was talking to Nigel & Alex a lot and I spoke to them about LOG and they were saying they were thinking of LOG too. Then I prayed for a week and I asked for God for a clear sign and suddenly one of the days Jude was back home he came up to me and told me "Hey Greg , I think Log would be a good choice" and I was like okay, weird moment but okay and I prayed even more and I realize that I facil-ed Sec 2 camp with Liver and he was so cool like a brother and I realize that it really must be LOG and the next day I went to mass , the whole mass " I had the feeling that it was LOG" and me and Alex were praying about LOG together and we attended mass and that day one of the songs at mass was about wheat and after mass we met Mark Abraham and he told me and Alex he doesn't know why but he feels like telling us something and he told us .."Just don't wait, join the youth group god is telling you too" and Alex & I were so freaked out but yeah. That was the day I said yes it's Log and told Liver that I wanted to join. YEAH that was how I choose Log for those of you who were wondering.
Now just a little more!!! Sorry I know this is long. But just a few more line.....
Since the day I came for the first session till now I slowly have realized that LOG will be a close part of my life from now onwards. And today when we were there at the Sec 3's first lesson and when Anne introduced us as her family, I truly realized that I have inherited a family myself too and when I came to the blog and saw the Christmas 09 picture I truly felt so blessed. I would really like to thank all of you for making me feel so accepted and loved in LOG and I hope that we will all grow together in faith and in our journey in getting to know god. And Yes I think there are many more jump shots, many more crazy moments and a million more moments of joy and happiness and maybe even a little bit of sadness coming our way but we will take anything with God with us as a community.
Okay, I am done and I am really sorry for my post being super super long and I apologies for all my mistakes but I really mean what I have written here :)
